I currently have JoomSEF 1.4.3 installed on my site and I am also using Joomla SEO patch extended version. Have not had any problems out of this, until I tried to upgrade to JoomSEF 1.5.1, when I did, I lost access to a lot of pages on my site and was receiving an error
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: addhttpequiv() in /home/kaufman/public_html/administrator/components/com_sefpatch/config.class.php on line 568"
I know that his shows to be related to the SEF Patch, but it also has to do with JoomSEF. The other issue was on the pages that did show up, I got the following in the meta tags
"<meta name="robots" content="index, follow" />
<meta name="description" content="removed data for shortness" /> <meta name="keywords" content="removed data for shortness" /> <meta name="googlebot" content="noarchive" /> <meta name="googlebot" content="snippet" /> <meta name="Generator" content="Joomla! - Copyright (C) 2005 - 2006 Open Source Matters. All rights reserved. JoomSEF SEO by Artio (
www.artio.net) - databases, information system and web applications, co-sponsored by Dr. Steven Morris (
www.michiganmakeover.com") - Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery in Michigan & Moravatour (
www.moravatour.cz) - dovolena u more" /> <meta name="robots" content="index, follow" />"
It removed my included copyright tag, added 2 robots tags and a couple of other items that were either removed or included as I needed them.
But its really weird, is that even though in the version 1.4.3 or 1.4.2 and SEF Patch, when I set it to show googlebot = snippet, it would not show up, but when I upgrade it (temp.) it was there. I do not wish to remove or stop using SEF Patch, but there needs to be some checking into this as to why these errors and issues are happening.
I have also contact the SEF Patch developer and waiting a reply from them to see what else may need to be done.
Thanks
