Hi Im having the following problem, Im using Joomla 1.0.12 + Virtuemart 1.0.10 + joomSEF 1.5 + virtuemart joomSEF extension 1.0.1 + joomfish 1.7 with two languages English and Spanish. I have encountered many situations along the way and one by one have been reolved. The persistent issue is the following:
all my "spanish" product pages are preceeded by "inicio"(HOME in spanish) so my urls are like this:
www.mydomain.com/es/inicio/categories/cat1/product1
while my english product urls are as they should be:
www.mydomain.com/en/categories/cat1/product1

All I want to do is to get rid of the "inicio"(home) part in the url. I tried already to unpublish Inicio from the main menu and the result was that the url took the next mainmenu item in this case was about us so the url was: www.mydomain.com/es/about-us/categories/cat1/product1
Could any expert please help me on this. Also could be helful if the categories part could be removed as well, but the main issue is "inicio"

Hello,

I hope this was fixed by the customized VM extension we sent to you.

We are preparing a new JoomSEF release, where it will be possible to adjust each extension settings separately. But before that, the default behavior can only be adjusted manually.
