My site has been using joomSEF for about 1 year or maybe more. no problems at all! But now it can't find the index.php. So the "front page" is displayed as "you have to log in to see this"

Why is this?

no idea. Probably some configuration problems.
What version are you using? Did you upgrade? Did you do any changes? Did your server admin did some changes?

I would certainly recommend upgrading to the newest 2.x version. If you have problems with online upgrade, you can download the newest version from our site. If you have problems with unpacking, please try to unpack it with some other archiver and repack again.

We are unable to support old versions.
