I though I had the SEF working fine until I realized the ordering I set up in the menus were all messed up. You know where it says leading, intro, columns, category order, primary order. Well when Joomsef is installed it ignores all that no matter what I do nothing changes. It gets put in the order I have my stories in the content.

For example my graphic section
1. Logo Design
2. business cards
3. Graphic Design

It has those 3 content items displayed in 1 column. No matter what I choose nothing changes if I set it to 2 columns it remains 1, if I change the ordering to alphabetical stays the same, etc nothing effects it accept changing the order the stories appear in the content category.

Here are my settings that work when I have joomsef uninstalled and it works fine
Leading 0, intro 2, columns 1, links 4, Cat Ordering "no order by primary order only" Primary Order "Oldest first"

I am not aware of any way how JoomSEF could influence the menu ordering. Are you sure this is not cause by something else? Does it start to works just by switching the JoomSEF to "off"?
