TOPIC: JoomSEF and RocketTheme template problem

JoomSEF and RocketTheme template problem 16 years, 2 months ago #5006

Hello,

Here is all my info. I'm on the 3-month membership, but I wanted to try the forum first in case someone else has had this problem.

Joomla! 1.5.6
JoomSEF 3.2.1
PHP Version: 5.1.2
Database Version: 5.0.26
Web Server: Apache/2.2.3 (Linux/SUSE)
Web Server to PHP interface: apache2handler
Template: RocketTheme - Replicant

This is a production site, and after we installed the JoomSEF and fixed the .htaccess file, we came across an odd problem.
csm.mavenspire.net/
If you click on any of the top menu items, the background image disappears, leaving only the transparency. This makes for rather dark pages. The really weird part is that, if you continue further into the site, there is no longer a problem. It only occurs with the pages that appear when you click on the main menu items.

Is there anyone who has had a similar problem, or knows how to correct this?

Thanks,
Melissa

Hello,

If you look on the source code of your site, there is the following line in the <head> section:

body {color: #000000;background: #212b4a url(templates/rt_replicant_j15/images/bg/bg2008.jpg) 50% 0 no-repeat fixed;}

You need to add the slash to the front of background image url, thus changing it from:
templates/rt_replicant_j15/images/bg/bg2008.jpg

to:
/templates/rt_replicant_j15/images/bg/bg2008.jpg

That should fix it.

That worked perfectly! Thanks! I didn't realize it need to point to an absolute url.

Cheers!
