TOPIC: Joomsef 2.2.2 / virtuemart ext 1.1.3 problem

Joomsef 2.2.2 / virtuemart ext 1.1.3 problem 17 years, 1 month ago #3376

Hi,

I have the following setup:
Joomla 1.0.13
Virtuemart 1.0.13a
Joomsef 2.2.2
virtuemart ext. 1.1.3 paid version
Joomfish 1.0.8
caching global on and joomsef caching on.

i have updated joomsef from 1.3 by uninstalling and installing the new version. next i installed virtuemart ext. 1.0.0 and upgraded using the built in upgrade function.

if i set com_virtuemart to 'use default handler' in joomsef config i get the following error:
the background loads and several times showing errors underneath.
'Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid resource handle in /administrator/components/com_joomfish/mldatabase.class.php on line 429
Warning: mysql_num_fields(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /administrator/components/com_joomfish/mldatabase.class.php on line 436'

I understand it says joomfish, but if i set com_virtuemart to 'skip' in joomsef config everything works perfect including joomfish. looking at the code, it doesn't bring me any clues..

could anybody give me some insight into what is happening?

The problem might be that JoomSEF may be automatically trying to get localized translations of the products (if you have JoomFIsh plug-in for VM) and from some reason, this fails.

If that is the case (meaning that you have JoomFish support for VM), it might need some further debugging with the JoomSEF VM extension.

Are you sure about your JoomFish version? You state 1.0.8? Do you mean 1.8? So far everything has been tested on JoomFish 1.7.
