Hello everybody,

I have try to install joomsef 3.2.12 free edition on my joomla 1.5.10 website.

The component looks very good and thank you for that.

But I have a lot of components that is not compatible with joomsef, and I don't have enougth time to config it.

So I have unistall it, and now, if my core cache system is activated, after few minutes, all my menu lost there picture and the link is wrong.

So I can't use the cache system now, so please, can you explain me how I can restore my website has it was before joomsef.

Thank you

Hello mook,

1. you can simply disable SEO for incompatible components in JoomSEF config by setting the processing for them to nocache (to use Joomla default SEO) or to skip (no SEF URLs at all)

2. to revert site to original status, simply uninstall JoomSEF and reconfigure SEO settings in Global configuration.; nothing else is needed

Thanks for the replie,

I have uninstall joomSEF and put all SEO settings to "no" in my global configuration. But I have always a problem with the cache system.

I have no idea of what I have to do.

Any other suggestions ?

Thanks

PS : I'm French, sorry for the english language...

My problem seems appear only with the mod_mainmenu.

And something is really strang because I have put "No cache" in the setting of all this modules, but when the global cache is activated, some cache files of this kind of module appear. So if I clean only this files, my website reworks for few minutes....

I'm lost

Hello,

I am sorry to say that, but as regards this, I do not see any relation with JoomSEF.
Except global system cache, check tha cache system plugin - that is sometimes a reason of confusion in Joomla caching, as it works independently on global cache settings. Turn it off and see if it will help.

I think there is a relation because my problem appear directly after the installation of joomSEF.

And the system cache plugin is disable...

Thanks

If you have an other idea ...

I will inform you If I found a issue,

I hope
