TOPIC: ERROR, have to remove htaccess file to fix site

ERROR, have to remove htaccess file to fix site 15 years, 5 months ago #7494

I installed the free version to make sure it works before I buy the paid version. After installation, before I had a chance to configure it or turn it on, I got an internal server error. I looked at the docs and the line it said to comment out in the .htaccess file to fix the problem did not exist. So to get the site back, I have to remove the .htacess file completely. Then I had to uninstall JoomSEF.

I would like to purchase this program if I can get it to work, but someone has to prove to me it will work first without taking my site down. Can someone do that for me? Here are the contents of the htaccess file. What is causing it to break? How can I get this app to work?
