TOPIC: Compatbility

Compatbility 17 years, 3 months ago #2886

Oh how I wish this component was compatible with other components.

  1. Sobi2- Of which I purchased the ext for. However, it is not compatible with the media, and galley plugins so that makes it useless to me. (Flushed $9.00 US)
  2. FacileForms- With SEF enabled my forms will only work in module positions in the front end, cannot use them in content with the (Free I Might Add) mambot. To edit and create forms in the backend I have to turn off SEF
  3. Sobi2 (again) I cannot edit, create, or save listings to the directory without getting:
Are we debugging? Headers sent by english.php on line 218. Killed at line 1 in joomsef.php: HEADERS ALREADY SENT (200) URL=xxx.comoption=com_sobi2&sobi2Tas...=2&catid=71: OPTION=:

A word to the developers- If you are going to sell something, at least make sure it works.
If you are going to support something you are selling, do it like your product is worth my money. I have had a post on this board for almost 2 days with no response from you.

Like in the schoolyard I am calling your product a punk. The response I expect from you is some grand explanation as to why it is not. You will prove it by deleting this post.

Keep the $9.00 punk<br><br>Post edited by: Diese E-Mail-Adresse ist gegen Spambots geschützt! Du musst JavaScript aktivieren, damit Du sie sehen kannst. , at: 2007/08/17 04:53

Funny,
I wanted to check my other post and did not want to go look for it. Went to my profile and clicked on the link to it in my subscriptions and got an invalid request. I know the fix for this:

Go to your admin panel in Joomla backend. Under the components tab select Artio JoomSEF. From that window select \&quot;Configure JoomSEF\&quot;. At the top there will be 2 radio select butons. Select \&quot;Disable\&quot; and then Save the configuration. This feature will work again.<br><br>Post edited by: Diese E-Mail-Adresse ist gegen Spambots geschützt! And by the way I wanted to say Thank You for having Joomlaboard configured so that my e-mail address is available for all to see. Even though at the bottom of the submit post page it says:
* - your email address will never be displayed on the site.

Hello,

as regards your complaint about the email address visible, well you cannot wonder if you use your email as a username! Otherwise, the email is invlisible. Other users cannot see it, except the \&quot;Post edited by\&quot; text, where your username is shown.

As regards the SOBI2 extension, it works with default installation. We cannot guarantee it will work with any other extra plugins for it. However, we will check your information and see if we can improve it to support those you mentions.

Just what you say is a bit unfair, as those problems are connected with your specific configuration.

FacileForms is not supported by JoomSEF, so you will have to disable SEF for this component if you experience problems.

As regards the JoomlaBoard SEF bug, thanks for leaving us a note about it.

Best regards,
michal

Your system did that when I purchased. Asked for an e-mail and created the account for me as you can see from the email I forwarded to you.
