fr3br0 OFFLINE Posts: 1	Hello, I am using joomsef and it works fine with my site both SEF Urls and Custom Redirects I tried to use Canonical Link in a Custom Redirects but <link rel="canonical" href="URL" /> does not appear beetween <head></head> I have cleaned all possible cache before clicking link through the navigator Any idea ? mariuszstach OFFLINE Posts: 10	I have the same problem:). The other thing I noticed is that when a canonical link is specified it works just once. Then, when the page is refreshed the tag disappears... Help:)

More information available:) - sorry, I'm not a programmer so I don't know how to fix this, but kowing that fixing probably won't be a problem, so: It seems that caching doen't save the info on canonical. When the page is refreshed the first time the browser calls it the data comes directly from the databse. But when the page is refreshed the data comes from cache and the canonical tag is missed. When caching is disabled from configuration panel the tag is present all the time.

jaku	Hello, are you using the page caching? The one when caching plugin is used? If so, make sure the plugins are in correct order. Caching should be the last plugin among the system ones.
