Can JoomSEF mimick Wordpress URL structure?

Hello!
I am in the process of converting a large site (over 3,000 articles) from Wordpress to Joomla, and would like to keep the permalink structure the same. For example;

www.mysite.com/2009/10/19/page title

I was curious if JoomSEF can be configured to automatically rewrite URL's to this structure.
