i have installed joomla in dirctory pret/j and .htaccess file is also in the same directory. main site is working and opening, and urls are also appearing the way they should be, but the are not opening :(

i am getting page not found error.

what might be the reason ???

Make sure your .htaccess file matches that in the ARTIO documentation and that your httpd.conf file has "AllowOverride All" in the <Directory> tag of the apache server to allow the file to work.
