TOPIC: 404 errors in all my links

404 errors in all my links 17 years, 6 months ago #2167

 • remco
Hello,

I've got the same problem as many others here on this forum but I can't seem to figure out what is going wrong.
I installed the ARTIO SEF extension and exactly as described in the documentation regarding the .htaccess file. My frontpage is visible but all my links give the 404 error.

I have a subdirectory in which I have installed joomla and I have mentioned the subdirectory in my .htaccess file but it just won't work.

I hope you can help me out. This is my .htaccess file:

# If you are using a 3rd Party SEF or the Core SEF solution
# uncomment all of the lines in the '3rd Party or Core SEF' section

Re:404 errors in all my links 17 years, 5 months ago #2424

I am having the same problem. Only difference is my installation is in the root, no subdirectory. I can get to the homepage no problem, but any link from there gives me a 404 page. It has to be a rpobelm with JoomSEF because if I put the old url in, the index.php...\" one then the pages come up fine. I can even go into my url list in the artio component, copy one of the old url's and pastge it in my browser, and it works fine, but if I use one of the new ones I get a 404 error. What is really odd is everything was working fine for the last 2 days, then all of a sudden I am getting 404's on every page except the home page. I see this problem posted about a lot in this forum, but have yet to see anyone give a solution:(
