If you are getting
""You don't have permission to access / on this server." then it means you are trying to access a physically existing file/directory at server to which access is not allowed.

So, make sure that the access to /soleil is allowed. (e.g. use Order deny,allow)

thank you for the lead but to be honest, i know nothing of htaccess files and everything i try doesnt work.

can someone please just paste a simple htaccess file that will exempt it from parent directory htaccess files?

ive already purchased extensions from this site and really need this to work asap or i'll have to uninstall everything. my 2nd site has been down for a week.
