We recently upgraded from Joomla 1.7 to Joomla 2.5 and at the same time upgraded JoomSEF to 4.5.1. Suddenly some URL's simply do not resolve. They seem to get "stuck" trying to resolve. What is of great concern is that it doesn't even resolve to a page 404 error, it just hangs. We''ve purged the cache both for Joomla and for Artio and that seems to help temporarily but then the same thing starts happening with other URL's

Please advise as this is damaging my client's business.

Hello. It is happening for all of your URLs or just for certain ones? It is possible that it is caused by somehow looped 301 redirects.

Can you please respond with solution? I first posted here 6 days ago. More and more URL's are now suffering the same problem. Client is now understandably annoyed.

This issue is solving via e-mail. Problem caused by plugin Modalizer.
