TOPIC: URL-Layout-Questions

URL-Layout-Questions 10 years, 8 months ago #43433

Hi there,

I have two questions:

#1 How can I remove the Templatetyp from URL?
If I install JoomSEF, the URL changed from www.domain.com/category_alpha.html to www.domain.com/category_alpha/category_alpha/ - so I get a double categoryname in url!
If I change the content-extension -> add menu title to url -> to NO, then I remove one categoryname, so there is no longer double categoryname. BUT: Now I get the following: www.domain.com/category_alpha/blog.

Why get I /blog??

How can I remove this?

#2 How can I configure the URL-Layout to show all articles (not categories!) with .html? I only found one option to get all content - categories AND articles - with the suffix .html. I only want it for the articles. How can I do this?

Ciao,
Tom

Tipp: the first problem exists only in the first category level. the following sub-categories do not show /blog in the url.

For the moment I have a solution..

#1 I used the option "manage sef-urls" to remove /blog manually. But I think, it's tricky...

#2 My mistake: the named option works correctly. ;)

Hello,

I am sorry for the delay.
As regards your first point, you can solve it by settings in JoomSEF --> Manage Extensions --> Content --> Add layout to URL and set "never".
