TOPIC: showing wrong date format in modules using Falang

showing wrong date format in modules using Falang 11 years, 11 months ago #34894

Hi with Falang enabled, translation works fine except for modules that contain time/date-informations like a news-module (Display News 2.0 / Latest News + aso).Using two languages, each with a unique domains.
.de domain shows just the dates in english (Thursday, 29 November 2012), .com in german (Donnerstag, 29. November 2012). Titles are perfectly translated. So are dates in other places than modules.
With Joomsef disabled (/de & /en used) everythings as it should be.

We've checked the problem and found a bug in JoomSEF causing this. It will be fixed in next version.

great dajo, thanks!
Will this be 'soon' or can you give a short hint/file where to fix?

I'm sorry, there's no ETA for next version, but I can give you a guide on how to fix it:

1. Back up your /components/com_sef/joomsef.php file
2. Open the file and there are two places that need to be fixed - there should be the following code on lines 152 and 1599:
$language->load();

3. On both places change it to:
$language->load('joomla', JPATH_BASE, null, true);

4. Save the file

That should fix the problem.
