I just bought the extension for the website www.antor.se. But I'm building a website on http://grandroyalpr.com/web2/ I got a warning message
"Warning
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file

Component Install: Custom install routine failure" and

"Error
Download ID not set."

as well as

"Message
Error installing component"


it says on Artio website that this component is supported on Joomla 3!

but I cannot install it

Hello Dariusz,

probably you tried reinstall free version and it shouldn´t be necessary. Just try to set your new download ID to the Registration tab and click "Online migrate to paid version" button on the Upgrade page in JoomSEF config.

I have tried installing the free version of that component but I got exactly the same problem. It doesn't want to install at all so it's not a problem with the registration.

I have checked the Extension Manager: Manage and there are no extensions elements installed from Artio.

During the installation process the only thing I get is the messages.

There seems to be some problem with the ZIP package extraction on your server. In that case, try to extract the package manually and use the Install from Directory feature in Joomla using following steps:

1. Create a directory "joomsef" in your Joomla's tmp folder using FTP or some other file manager: tmp/joomsef
2. Extract the JoomSEF's ZIP package on your computer and copy all the files inside the tmp/joomsef directory on your server
3. Open the Extensions Manager in your Joomla and set the correct path to "Install from Directory" field (you can find the full path to your Joomla's tmp folder in Joomla's Site -> System Information -> Directory Permissions menu) - for example /var/www/tmp/joomsef
4. Click the Install button. Don't forget to delete the tmp/joomsef directory after successful installation

I did exactly as you wrote. Unfortunately there is exactly the same problem.
