Joomla: 1.7.3
Artio Joomsef: 4.2.0
Order Number: 00020043

Hello I just updated the website to the new Joomsef, the 4.2.0 version but I'm having now a problem with the homepage link, when I go to the homepage instead of being redirect to the default language I get an error:

the homepage link is www.sudtirol.com/2011/ and it used to redirect to the italian vesion link that is www.sudtirol.com/2011/it.htm.

Now instead of redirecting to the italian version it does redirect to www.sudtirol.com/2011http://www.sudtirol.com/it.htm.

The second question I have is: is there a way to change the default language homepage url (currently www.sudtirol.com/it.htm) to the root url of the website (www.sudtirol.com/)

If you want I can give you the access to the website.

Hi,

Is the /2011/ part a sub-directory with Joomla? If it is, we've already fixed some bugs with sub-directory handling, so it should be OK in our next bugfix release.

JoomSEF currently doesn't support default language page without the language code, but thank you for your suggestion, we'll add it to our requested features.

Yes Joomla is installed in the 2011 directory.

This means I have to wait for the bugfix to correct it?

Hello any news about this??

I'll try to explain myself better:

The url where Joomla is installed is
www.sudtirol.com/2011/

Instead of redirecting me to the italian homepage www.sudtirol.com/2011/it.htm (italian is the default language and the get language from browser is disabled) it does redirect me to www.sudtirol.com/2011http://www.sudtirol.com/it.htm

I'll add a screenshot of my language configuration

I updated the website with the new version of Joomfish 4.2.1 but this is creating me quite a lot of problems.

  1. Now the homepage of the website is just giving me a 310 error (ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS).
  2. It did rewrite all my second language (german) url. I still have all the custom one I did make in the artio "Mange SEF ulr" panel but while I navigate the website is creating all new ones and when i switch to german language it shows me the german text of the article but all the modules are showing in italian instead of german

I really need some help!!
