I am encountering a glitch with JoomSEF4 in that all works fine until I add a link (say in content) to a contact form.

If I have on the homepage, please use or Contact Form... (with that linked to contact), it returns an error:

0 - SQL=SELECT `id`, `name` AS `name`, `catid`, `metakey`, `metadesc`, `metadata`, `language`,`misc` FROM `htdew_contact_details` WHERE `id` = 1-amf-magnetics

If I remove the link, it works fine.

Your link to contact form contains the following variable: id=1-amf-magnetics. It should be either id=1:amf-magnetics (notice the colon instead of dash) or only id=1.

That is not a custom code/link, that is one generated by JCE Editor.

Does that mean it is an issue with how JCE is creating the link?

Yes, it is most likely.
But we'll also update JoomSEF to handle such malformed links in next version.

The new version of JoomSEF (4.3.1) has been released yesterday. It should handle such links correctly.
