Hi all,
New to JoomSEF (moving many sites over from sh404SEF which I have been using for many years), and must say mighty impressed so far.
My question is what is the best/correct procedure when managing 2 non-urls pointing to the same page - due to menu link and category drill-down link.
eg:
index.php?option=com_hikashop&layout=listing&view=category&Itemid=265
index.php?option=com_hikashop&cid=32&ctrl=category&name=rare-earth-magnets-neodymium&task=listing&Itemid=264
For these I want to create a custom URL (...rare-earth-magnets-neodymium).
Working/testing site:
magnetec.com.au/joom3
On the previous component I used, renaming/customising 2+ URLs to the same SEF URL would create/display as one URL in the backend (with indication that there was a duplicate non-sef url.
I notice in JoomSEF it displays the two separate SEF-URL's.
Am I doing this right or is there a better way to manage these in JoomSEF?
Regards
Simon B
