Hello,

I changed my virtuemart (extension of Joomsef) url creating from SKU to Title.
The url is still shown in the address bar with the SKU.
The moment I remove the old SEF url everything is working fine; removing the url is not something we want.
Google knows all the old url, is it possible to use the new SEF (with title) as default next to the old with SKU?

Hi,
If you use the Update URLs function in JoomSEF's URLs Manager to update affected URLs, the 301 redirects from old URLs to new ones will be automatically created, so when someone clicks the old URL in Google, he will be redirected to the new one.
But of course I recommend you to make a backup of your website before updating your URLs (eg. using Akeeba Backup).
