TOPIC: Error Downloading Extension - Just purchased

Error Downloading Extension - Just purchased 12 years, 5 months ago #31362

Hi,
I have just purchased a K2 JoomSEF extension. But when I try to set the download id in the extension it return following error:

Cannot upgrade, site URL does not match with customer database. Request came from: mohul.com/articles, registered URL is: mohul.com (testing URL: mohul.com). If you think you should not get this message, please, contact Diese E-Mail-Adresse ist gegen Spambots geschützt! Du musst JavaScript aktivieren, damit Du sie sehen kannst. and provide your correct site URL and order ID.

Presently I am developing my site at URL mohul.com/articles and mohul.com/demo2, but I will migrate my site after final touch to freearticles.mohul.com
But it is on the same domain mohul.com, so during purchase I entered mohul.com as my site URL, but now it is giving error.
What should I do now??
Extension should work around whole domain.
All developers limit the usage of their extensions per domain, but you are limiting by particular location that's not good even for site development and testing. Presently I and testing my site at 2 different locations. Your limit don't allow me to test my site properly before launching the site.
This is also not a good business policy. What if someone plan to change the site location on same domain later?
Well, what is the solution of my problem now?

Thanks

Hi,
When purchasing our components and extensions, you may enter two URLs - Site URL and Testing URL. It is clearly stated on the product purchase page that these URLs must contain the subfolder if your website is not installed in the domain's root.
You can change your registered URLs using our Product Registration Change service: www.artio.net/e-shop/support-services/pr...-registration-change
You can also test the functionality of your purchased K2 extension in different subfolder than registered, but the automatic online update won't work for it.
