Why is it that everytime a user registers, and Joomla sends out an Activation link, that Joomsef, creates a sef url at which point the first user can actively, register, but the users after this ofcourse run in an infinite loop as all following registers, get the same "url" by Joomsef, as the first?

Any easy fix?

What version of JoomSEF and Joomla do you use? How does the activation link in e-mail look like? Could you also post a Real URL for it found in JoomSEF -> Manage SEF URLs?

Well using Joomla 1.65 and Joomsef 4.1.0

The emailed activation links are:

index.php?option=com_users&task=registration.activate&token=d4969471533b967944e7f465e1e3eab3

and it converts it to:

users/activate

And as the links for activation which are emailed are unique, I thought joomsef would "manage this" but it stacks them all under:

users/activate

I still have this issue. I keep setting the non SEF filters in the backend, but they work for a test run, and after a day or two userrs start complaining again - simply they stop working, and joomSEF keeps redirecting them to users/activate

Joomla! 2.5.6, version 4.2.7

I use JoomSEF, because it works with more extensions, but with that issue it makes the site useless. Buying support also seems a bad option, as I see a lot of people complaining, that it isn't worth it :(

Also, when I enable JoomSEF - the registration confirmations sites don't appear, their simply blank sites.
