I have set the Language Settings of JoomSef to use different subdomains per language. When I click the flag on the language switcher module the corresponding subdomain loads.

I would like to know if there is an automatic redirect to the appropriate subdomain based on the browser settings. The 'Get language from browser setting' is set to Yes but it's not working as it should, and the browser stays on the www.mydomain.com instead of redireting to fr.mydomain.com

Hi,

The language from browser is being used only if not fully determined from the domain. That means that if you have www.mydomain.com set for English and fr.mydomain.com set for French, the www.mydomain.com is detected as English and language is not determined from browser.
Otherwise if www.mydomain.com redirects to fr.mydomain.com if your browser is in French, you wouldn't be able to switch to English even if you wanted, because it would always redirect.
