I don't know what precipitated this change, but now whenever I go to the homepage (/) of my site I get redirected to a 404 page (/page-not-found). All other links work just fine. I have tried Purging, Updating and Clearing Cache to no avail.

SEF URL: (Home page)
Real URL: index.php?option=com_content&view=featured&Itemid=1460

The error in the SEF Log is "Category with ID 2 could not be found."

I am using version 4.6.2

Any ideas!?

I figured out the problem. It was not actually due to JoomSEF.

Here's a good piece of debugging advice. Go into JoomSEF extension settings and disable JoomSEF processing on your content type. If the problem still exists, it's clearly not JoomSEF's fault.
