I am use persian language for Joomla 1.0.12 (UTF-8)
when I use persian lang for menu ( Example for gallery : تست ) :
in URL not show anuthing look tis URL:
site.com/ /index.php

PROVIDED it should show in URL :
site.com/gallery/index.php

in Advanced SEf , SEf component do not use menu name for SEF URL.

can U help me?

Hello,

the problem may is probably cause by the fact, that there are no persian characters defined in the "Character translations" in JoomSEF administration.
There is currently translations for most of the german-based and slavian languages. For persian, you will just need to define the translations there.

Like e.g.: ت|y, س|r, ... (these are just examples deducted from your example, as I do not speak a word in Persian)

For persian, you will need to define the whole alphabet this way. If you do so, please, send us the copy of the definition file, so we can include it for other users also.

in name field I used persian character for show in menu & in ename I can enter english translation of name for using in Sef URL
