Hi,

Make sure that all the needed directories and files are writable - that the web server has write permissions for them.
Check the Directory Permissions in Help -> System Info. JoomSEF also needs the /administrator/components/com_sef/configuration.php file to be writable. And if you decide to update JoomSEF, you'll also need all its files and directories to be writable.

Please double check that the /administrator/components/com_sef/configuration.php file is set to 666.

Hello guys,

I need help. I've just recovered my old version of the Joomla 3.7.1 website (spent so much time with the backups and recovering all the files). Now, the config file has become unwritable. What can I do to fix this? I tried to delete it and create again - nothing works.
