I am concerned about the burden that JoomSEF might put on the database of my server, but it seems that a caching accelerator might make the burden minimal as most of the viewers of the site are not logged in.

Has anybody tried using a caching accelerator (Joomla Perfromance Booster from Joomla at Work or others) to increase site perfromance with JoomSEF?

Did you notice any improvements in perfromance?

Yes, I have used it and it works OK - the problem is the time it take for changes or updates to be reflectd in the content, but you can change the update cached page time delay.

However for pages using cookies such as your shop cart you will have some problems.

These will need to have a seperate link created to them and then a setting to ignore that page for caching.
