I installed the JoomlaSEF & VM SEF components no problem, the links to the genaeral pages/articles used to work, but now they have stopped...

I need to get this resolved asap, is there some way of re checking the links so the SEF _com can pickup on the links again???

Can anyone help me....Client needs to get this fixed asap...

Hello,
make sure to check the Itemid value stored for the links (URLs) that do not work. Make sure they include Itemid and that it matches a menu item that should be available for everyone.

The problem you describe might be that the URL is cached with an Itemid that matches an item accessible only to registered ot higher level accounts. That could be reason of that error.

You may also try purging the problematic URLs and have them regenerated to see if that helps.

I checked the itemid and they match up correctly, also checked user leve and menus & articles are all public.

I then tried clearing the cache, and purging within the Artio SEF Commponent, as well as mass check in, clear joomla cache & purged expired joomla cache.

Still not working.

I cannot figure it out.

Is it possible to delete all the SEF URL's Artio auto craeted & have artio auto create the URls again / create new URLS automatically??

My client has informed me there was some SEO guys logged in, so they have done something, but not sure what! Would deleting all SEF urls & auto re cretae them work?

Can someone from artio please get in tocuh with me? I have sent an email last week but have not heard back and my client needs to get these links working again!
