Hi, i just purchased Joomdoc Enterprinse (JoomDoc 3) and am so impatient about this, but I have problems getting it to work with my domaine on internet.

first - I just discovert with your JoomDOC Documentation pdf after paid the component that to enable webdav i must do something on the server: Can you explain what does it mean:
"mod_dav installed on server and enabled for documents directory.
For example: <Directory "/var/www/documents"> DAV on </Directory>"
and why you don't explain this before paid 149 euro!

Second - for this price why the module "JoomDOC Explorer" works only with JoomDOC 3.3.0!
When this module will be able to work with JoomDOC 3.4.1 Enterprise?

Third - Impossible to use the module "JoomDOC module " on frontend, the document is on the serveur but impossible to download only " 404 Page not found"...

The last remarque but the most dangerous all the folder created via joomdoc are not protected...if you write the full directory you can access to all document via the url without the jomla ACL ... exemple with my website www.cdaoa.fr/documents/ (documents are "Special Access" with joomla ACL
I just do the install of the component like you write on your document!

In conclusion very expensive for a so dangerous component!

Hello

1. Documentation is free here www.artio.net/downloads/joomla/joomdoc/j...cumentation/details. You could read it without purchase. It is not problem. Ask your webhosting administrator to turn on WebDav for you.
2. It is OK. Explorer works since 3.3.0. With all higher versions (3.4.1 too) as well.
3. PHP application cannot protect folder. The simplest way is to ask your webhosting administrator to protect documents folder by server settings.

As regards the security, we strongly recommend that the root for the folder with documents is put OUTSIDE the Joomla webroot, so it cannot be access through HTTP directly at all!
If you keep it within the Joomla root, you need to take other precautions to protect it, such as putting .htaccess file in.
