Have you test on fresh install?
my first test in on site with joomdoc 3.4.x upgraded to 4.0.2
if you want i can send you my original DB before 4.0.2 install so you can see that 4.0.2 conversion scripts does'nt work right.

Hello, what do you mean by "4.0.2 conversion scripts"? How did upgrade from JoomDOC 3 into JoomDOC 4? They are very different.

on site with 3.4.x i've unistalled it and installed 4.0.2
i've no found any other working way to upgrade from 3 to 4 !

i'm using joomla from many years and I have always seen that modules are update installing above the new version

what do you think ?

Hello, JoomDOC 3 is for Joomla 1.5 - 2.5. JoomDOC 4 is for Joomla 3. Joomla 3 brings completely new core framework and her development is still in progress. For this reason JoomDOC 3 and JoomDOC 4 cannot be compatible. But database structure is the same. So if you uninstall JoomDOC 3 and install JoomDOC 4 again then you can continue without data losting. I do not know why permissons does not work for you. If you get us access into administrator we will investigate it.
