I am aware this was already a topic, but a while ago.

I use JoomDoc Pro 3.4.3 and I would like to rename the Root folder in the JoomDoc Explore from "JoomDoc" to something else.
I rename the JoomDoc_Root value it the joomdoc.ini file, restarted Apache but on the front end is stays the same. Is there somewhere else that I must change the wording?

that folder is not visible anywhere except administration pages. Why do you want to rename it?
If joomdoc.ini file didn't help, it will be somewhere else... I don't know where. I am sorry, because this is not functionality issue, I can't spend more time on this problem.
