Hello, with Joomla 2.5 I get this error when entering component in administrator. I searched the forum and found it's a common issue, I set the permissions in documents folder to 777 bbut still get this error, trying to search a log or activating debug messages to find which folder is throwing the error didn't success so I ask for help.

What else can I do?

I am not sure what folder it should create in the moment you are entering component on backend. Maybe it is folder for all documents? Do you have rights to create folders on {project_root}?

Or check your configuration if there is correct path to document folder.

Hello, the error message is showed when i tray to install the component, this problem during installation is only with JoomDoc component, i tried to install other component and module and not have the problem.

If you have problem during installation, it can be problem of rights for any of these folders:

• - administrator/components
• - components
• - modules
• - plugins

Check your rights for these folders. If it is necessary, modify them and also modify them for all subfolders. They should be writable for installation pack.
When you open new installation of JoomDOC, it will also create new folder:

• - documents

Hello, which is the right permission of these folders, i not have changed anything from the installation of Joomla, i have installed others components and modules without problems.

I have check the permission on the folder and subfolder, now is 0755
