First of all thanks for your effort!
Since I'm experiencing a problem with my ISP which blocked the size of the uploaded files, I cannot add some docs. The "strange" thing that I don't have this limit with the ftp. It could be cool if it were possible to add files already loaded on the server, indicating the path on the server.

Could you think about that? ;)

Isn't this possible yet? Ok, not automatically, but manually it works.
I do my uploads mostly via ftp to the document path. After this I create new (empty) documents and then select the uploaded file inside the field "file". That's it ....

Yes, you are right, but i was thinking about something the 2nd way to install the components in joomla... :)

anyway it was just an idea ...
