Howto uninstall the application? I messed up the configuration and want to start over

Hi, by standard uninstaller in Joomla.

Thanks but this does not work. The module remains in place although it has disappeared from the installed externsions list. I removed all data but can not rempove the extension. Tried to reinstall but this does not work either. Looks like i have to remove it manually, but this is too dangerous in my opinion.

Hi, you can remove component manually. I can give you a instructions. It's Joomla 1.5.x or 1.6.x?

My version is 1.6.x

before operation backup Joomla and database

remove folders/files (paths are from Joomla root, language files remove for all languages)

remove db items (you can have different prefix from jos_)

remove all tables/views with prefix jos_booking
remove all rows from table jos_menu where column link contain string com_booking
remove all rows from table jos_extensions where column element contain string mod_booking_customer_info, com_booking and booking
remove all rows from table jos_assets where column name contain string com_booking
