I like the look and styling of Artio, and with the volume of negative comments I thought I would try out the free version first.

However, I cannot get the file to load via the normal Joomla extension manager,

There was an error uploading this file to the server.

this is the message I get and I've had no issues with any other software on this site so I'm really not sure why it is coming up with this. I do note that the file although zipped is very large.

I am using Joomla 1.7.3 all the usual and required php, etc.

Your suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello, there shouldn't be problem with unpacking ZIP. The package is larger then 2MB. Problem can provide restrictions in PHP setting. Max upload size or Max post size. The package is uploaded in template folder. Control if folder is writable.
