When you have a half day (4x hours fixed) and one of those hours have gone because an hourly has taken the slot... you cannot book a half day (4x hour).

However the individual hours still appear available so it looks like you can still box.

The entire thing should be set to unavailable.

I had my half day slots as 60 minute intervals.

If I make 180 mins then I get one click square and it is ok.

Can I not do 60 minute intervals and 3 hour slots.

Yes, you can use 180 minutes. but calendar will show you only small boxes.
For example you have hour and 3 hours reservations. Reservation time starts at 12:00, so hour reservations will be displayed every hour:
12:00 - 13:00
13:00 - 14:00

But 3 hours will be displayed every third hour.
12:00 - 13:00
15:00 - 16:00

This is because there is still space for smaller reservation type and table layout is not able at the moment to display item through 3 cells.

But when you specfic half day as fixed length 3 and duration 60 mins (hour)

Then it shows:

12:00 - 13:00
13:00 - 14:00
14:00 - 15:00

But if someone booked one of those hours as HOURLY not half day...then remaining boxes still show available even though you cannot click them. This is wrong. It confuses the customer

I made some tests and I agree that functionality for this example is not ideal. Remaining boxes still look available because component is not able to calculate if there is enough space for reservation (half day reservation). I have added information from my tests to new issue, so we will probably look on this problem in future releases.
Even if it shows that those days are available, you should be not able to reserve that time. Table is confusing, but wrong reservation can not be created. If you think it is big problem for your site, we can offer you paid custom support.

You also informed us before about some bugs in Booking component I could not test on your site. But I simulated it now, so we will try to resolve it with higher priority.
