Can you please help me with this.

As you can see from screenshot "capture" I am not able to see the images I have uploaded in the bookable item. I just see the icon of the broken image. Checking with ftp the image is healthy on the server so it must be an issue with the component.

In "capture2" you can see there are no icons when adding a property item, in the icon folder via ftp there are many icons available I do not seem to be able to see.

In "capture3" I am simulating the booking of a room through the monthly view, nothing can be clicked and no action can be taken from this screen, is there something configured wrong. I have pressed book it and it tells me to select a date, but nothing is selectable.

Thank you for the reply, I've gone through the FAQ, please find my points in bold



-Booking uploads images into folder specified in component configuration. Default is images/booking. This folder has to be writable. Upload is successful as specified I can ftp in the server and retrieve the file correctly

Images are always showed as thumbnails. Thumbnails are created into folder cache/com_booking. This folder has to be writable too. I tried downloading the tumbnail from the cache folder as well and it is perfectly healthy

Booking requires PHP GD2 library. This is installed and working as I use it for other components
Booking supports only JPG, PNG and GIF formats. Image is in JPG
Control PHP settings: upload_max_filesize and post_max_size. This is fine as the image has no probelm in uploading only in displaying
Control if folder cache is readable. There can be some server rule which disallows reading. Other components use the cache folder and it has no issues, permissions are standard 755, is there a way to confirm this is readable?

In general I think the problem is outside the scope of the FAQ I have emailed the screenshots to Lukas, maybe you can have a better understanding from those as I am not able to attach files in the forum.

Thank you for the assistance, I was able to sort the issue, there was an issue with .htaccess to the cache folder.

Another question regarding the images. I am looking at the "view=subject" which shows the list of available bookable items. I would like to show the image gallery on this page as well. If i add an image to the description of the bookable item it does not appear on this page. If I add an image and some text the text will appear and the image will not.
Is there a sort of block on this.

Hello, component has no such functionality. On item list is HTML of item description striped to make clean design with plain text. We can do this functionality as paid customisation.
