The page is not properly formatted.
The image is big and not showing as a thumnail (gallery) and Lightbox when clicked on.
The description is jumped from left to right and there is a big gap.

Images in description are not visible in gallery. For this reason it is also so large.
If you need gallery, you have to upload images to gallery in item detail.

Another thing is layout. Our demo site use still old version of Book it! 1.5.9. There was description under gallery.
New Book it! 2.0.2 has a little modified layout. If you do not like this, we can offer you custom paid support to modify layout for your use. I bought the component after looking at the demo site.. now you are telling me versions changed, and will require paid support... Hmm.. This is like you sell a car, and if later something comes up, you tell the customer that the Show room car was an older model..

Book it! 2 is completely new component which offer any functionality from that older one and also offers much more. And we are preparing every day new features what our customers want to see there. But I am sorry, layout was modified too and we think that it is better now. We understand that some people can have different view, for this reason we offer them our custom paid support, if they do not have own development.

I can not agree with your comparison with cars. But if you compare it with them, then cars can be also modified if you do not like standard equipment. And nobody will give you advanced equipment for free.

We are trying to have dynamic component design. What I mean with this? Every template looks different and our component is trying to get the most of styles from your template. So ideally it looks like part of you website. But both of us know that it is not possible to have always ideal design for every template and every customer.

If you prefer to have old Book it! then we can change your license to Book it! 1. Just let us know. Book it! 1 is compatible with Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5.
