TOPIC: Still wrong math!

Still wrong math! 10 years, 10 months ago #42921

Hello,
I submitted this before and I remade the item (template and item itself) but it is still doing the wrong math. I would like to have a volume discount so that the first night is $110 and the second onward is $100. I put the volume discount as 2/ $10
The math comes out like this every time:
110
200 (why does it jump to $90??)
300 (this is correct if adding from $200)
400

Same for the other one, which should be $99 the first night and $95 the second onward. I put the volume discount as 2/ $4
The math comes out like this:
99
190 (not 194)
285 (Here it correctly added 95)

Why does it double the discount only on the second night?

Hello,

there can be probably problem with sample data as I wrote you.
Did you try to delete a bookable items and create it once again?

Yes I deleted the sample data and created a new item. It is still only wrong for the second day.

Hello,

I have tried to set it according to you and there is no wrong math.
Let me introduce how volume discounts work:
1. 110 (it is price per one day but if you book more than 1 day, the price is reduced by 10 so that the price per first day is 100, it is default volume for another day)
2. 200
3. 300 etc.

I suppose you would like to have it as follows:
1. 110
2. 210
3. 310 etc.

That function is not supported at the moment but we can do it for you as a paid customization.
