That's great. I believe I already have that option enabled, so if I write 2 articles with the same alias they'll be differentiated by a number. I'll need to make sure it's the same option for having sections/categories with the same alias...

I just want to create categories and sections being sure that if I create 2 sections/categories with the same alias name, they won't have any kind of conflict...

what happens if I make a section called "news" and a category called "latest" and then do the same exact thing?

Yes, indeed... It does get the same SEF URL by default, as I just tried it minutes after posting this question. Now... Your answer is really helpful because I REALLY don't want to have to concern over the SEF URL.

Don't have trouble with numbers so that's a no issue. Now I'm interested in knowing the maximum amount of characters allowed for a SEF URL... and I'm pretty close to finding it out! Any help would be appreciated.

I searched "same title" but I didn't find the answer...

The thing is... I'm wondering what happens if I write article 1 called for example: "test" (leaving the 'alias' blank) and then write another one with the same name and I ALSO leave the 'alias' blank.

Just want to make sure I can write articles being sure that nothing happens in case that I assign the exact same aliases to different articles. Like writing one and giving it the "test-article" alias and then writing another article with the same "test-article" alias

Thx in advance!
