HI. well, we had done some customization of the mtree template for various reasons, but i managed to get rid of this by changing settings of the joomsef and eventually it died down. Not really sure what exactly was the cure. sorry

One of my sites using artio joomsef 3.x is going haywire.

Also, why are the pages coded 2-2 / 3-3 / then 4?

I tried to test this in another section to see if I can recreate the problem but I can’t – just found another issue with the url assigned. Go to What’s News:

Url at the top are weird – there will be a page number – then a number after with no logic to it – so you’ll have an www.toronto4kids.com/Kids/Whats-News-4-kids/Page-8-3.html (8 with a 3) then www.toronto4kids.com/Kids/Whats-News-4-kids/Page-19-2.html (19 with a 2) ??

i am also having pagination problems with the mtree directory.


do i have a setting wrong?

why cant i get it to work right?

SOLUTION:

I set the list length from ALL to 100 and it is fine now. I guess there is a memory limit somewhere there.

all good now, false alarm.!!

all of a sudden as i was making 301's, and a number of pages in the admin became white out.

the links no longer working, and going blank white, are the meta tags, sitemap, and sefurls

Well i managed to craft a series of sql operations to 301 39000 urls form the old joomla nonsef site to a joomla sef url site using the Joomsef component. It works pretty good, but one type of url caused joomla to show the "sorry you dont have permission to view this, please log in....... etc" message.

this is the old site url. ( it is from a custom component, but it should still work no?)

component/option,com_t4kcontent/task,articles/id,58/

the new url is Kids/A-Glimpse-Into-Kids.html

al of these same url types fail to redirect when added to the alias field in the SEF URL editor.

so is it the commas?
