I am still learning VM2, and wonder if your method will work for custom fields of the type ”textarea”, or only if they are of the type
Cart Variant. my preference is to use textarea fields to provide special instructions to buyers in their invoices on a per-product basis.

Hi there, any word on this capability?

I am selling event registrations. Each event is a product with a custom field containing specific instructions for that specific event.

Each event should trigger an invoice with specific instructions for that particular event (hotel name, dates, etc).

I don't see attributes coming through on the invoice, though.

How can I add a products custom field?
