If I activate SEF, even the nonsef links don't work.

I have problem configuring Artio SEF component with Virtuemart extension to work with product type parameters.
There is a problem with pagination, the search works until I try to go to another page of search results.
Do you have any recommended settings combination or is there some internal problem? I tried all combinations of setting but did not make it to work.
