I installed joomsef, and configured it according to the installation guide, but IT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL!

The joomlar is v1.0.13 and I tried joomsef 2.2.5 (chinese-utf-8) / 2.2.6 respectively.
according to the installation guide, I don't need to modify .htaccess file ,if it was generated automatically, or I just pasted the content on the installation guide page.
I modified the joomla global configuration SEO to ON, and joomsef has set itself ON automaitcally.
When I truned to the frond end, I found that main page is available, but the artical url chenged to as:
192.168.1.200//2.html ( for example )
My joomla is Chinese version,and the title of article contains Chinese characters, is that the cause?

I hope it's just a small problem.

Who has the same experience?
