Hmm, that's strange, I've already been into the mambot section and tried various combinations and it doesn't work - only for non-VM titles (I have the VM add-on)
What are the global Joomla SEF settings supposed to be, and are there any settings in the component that might affect it?
Here are my versions in use.
JoomSEF = 2.1.0
VM add-on = 1.6
Mambot = 1.5.3
Thanks.

Does the VM plugin do this, as I can't seem to get it working.
How do you enable it?
Thanks.

After spending the majority of today rebuilding my site after some tw@t of a hacker decided he was going to break my Joomla install. I now have everything working but my virtuemart SEF URLs.
The last time I had to install it, there was an option to upgrade via the Artio upgrade button within the control panel, but the virtuemart sef patch is no longer there - is this file available to download still?
Has anyone got a copy of it? I think it was v1.1.0
I am running J1.0.11, with Artio 2.1.0 (paid).
Thanks.

OK, I finally managed to figure out how to fix the two -2.html URL's. In the ARTIO back-end, go into view/dlete SEF URL's and delete any occurrances of the correct URL (if listed), then edit the -2.html (or whatever it is in your case) and change it back to .html (or whatever your URL ends with).
Now go back to the main ARTIO control panel and clear the ARTIO cache.
Hope that helps someone.
p.s. this is using ARTIO v2.1.1

Why is this? I have Virtuemart installed on my site www.leconcepts.com and 2 out of 16 product categories have a -2.html added to the SEF category name - any idea how to remove this?

No response, so I downloaded the free version (2.1.1) - removed the hidden ads (search for kangainternet on google) and then installed it. I then used the upgrade button in Artio backend and it showed an upgrade link for the vm extension.
It works, but I wish the developers would provide better support for paid members!<br><br>Post edited by:

I struggled with this one for ages - I was just about to give up, when I read a post on another site that suggested the following;
Install updated ArtioSEF component through back-end admin as normal. Then use the auto upgrade feature for the vm extension - top right Artio menu - upgrade, then it should highlight that your vm ext can be updaded - click the link.
Worked like a charm for me.<br><br>Post edited by:

Hello, I have the paid version 1.5.1 and went to upgrade to 2.1.1, but got this error message ...
Invalid upgrade file: /home/httpd/vhosts/[my-sitename.com]/httpdocs/media/upgrade_46e7e3a4d695d/sefext.titles.xml 11884 - index.php&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=41&category_id=9&flypage=shop.flypage&manufacturer_id=0&page=shop.product_details&product_id=301 -> index.php?option=com_virtuemart&category_id=9&flypage=shop.flypage&manufacturer_id=0&page=shop.product_details&product_id=301 / 41 11885 - index.php&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=41&category_id=9&flypage=shop.flypage&manufacturer_id=0&page=shop.product_details&product_id=390 -> index.php?option=com_virtuemart&category_id=9&flypage=shop.flypage&manufacturer_id=0&page=shop.product_details&product_id=390 / 41
I read in the documentation that the paid version isn't as smooth as the free version in terms of upgrading, so I also installed the latest vm component update, but it broke my site!
Now I've spent over 50 euros for the paid versions and have raised a support ticket, sent an email, but nothing??
Can anyone help me out - is there a known way to do this update?<br><br>Post edited by:
