i have a very strange problem , if i try to visit a sef url 30 days old , it does not work its like it expired .... if i go to the parent category , i can see the first 20 articles of the category , if i go to the next 20 articles , and i can see the "expired" article listing there , then the url works !!!! how is it possible ? how can i fix it ???

Hello , i'm facing a very strange problem ... some of my articles have problems ... I have an article with this alias

so my article link is

www.mysite.gr/enhmerwsh/koinwnikopolitik...germos-sta-epiteleia

and it doesn't work....

now , if i turn off sef my link is

www.mysite.gr/index.php?option=com_conte...12:koinwnikopolitika

and it works.... i tried to change the article title and alias to test and test2 but the www.mysite.gr/enhmerwsh/koinwnikopolitika/test or test2 does not work....

whats going on ???

I noticed that after some days i get 404 error at protected (locked) sef urls , when i click purge sef urls , everything works perfect and after 2-3 days i get the same problem....

My problem is that, when i click on articles i can see the correct url, it goes to the corrent url and 1 second before loading my url gets #.TfULxIJsLPo at the end.... what is it ?

i solved it by changing aliases, try to change your articles aliases. my problem was that i had special characters (not A Z - ) in article aliases

Hello , i'm using Non-ascii char replacements and i found out that it works with all url characters except the first one after the / , for example

localhost/category/γ-the-rest-is-ok

it happens only with the first character, does anyone know how to solve this ?

Hello i use joomla 1.6.2 with ARTIO JoomSEF 4.0.4 for friendly urls. i have enabled Search Engine Friendly URLs from joomla global as well as Use URL rewriting (default .htaccess). i also use 2 diferent modules to display articles. Mega Mini News and display news. everything works with display news. urls are as supposed to be , as i want. but with mega mini news i have problems. when i click on display news url i go to localhost/category/article but when i click on mega mini news url i get a url like localhost/index.php/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id...... which goes nowhere, if i remove the first index.php and hit enter !!! it works ... no... how to fix this ?? its joomsef problem ? its joomla's problem or modules problem ?? plz help
