Found a new configuration item:

Reappend Item ID = Set to NO if you do not want it to show.

I installed JoomSEF 1.3.3 and upgraded to 1.4.0. In the links that are generated, it is showing a residual "?Itemid=X" value. This did not show in JoomSEF 1.3.3. See below:

yourmixer.com/home/news/index.php?Itemid=2

Removing that value directly from the URL does not give 404 Error - but ?Itemid=XXXX looks annoying. Most of the time it shows ?Itemid=99999999. Example

yourmixer.com/home/news-feeds/joomla-com...html?Itemid=99999999

Same problem here. Could not get JoomSEF to work at all. SEO configuration is YES.

I looked at sef_ext.php Version 1.4.0 - but could not find the echo 'path'. This is what I have - starting at line 511:

Can you be more specific?

Figured out the redirect had a missing '/' (but it used to work before JoomSEF).
Note that the redirect should be:

MixersAndEvents.Com -&gt; MixersAndEvents.Com/home/

must have the '/' at the end to make the SEF work!

I did check the cookies setting on Firefox but it is currently accepting cookies.

Also, if I click an html link of the site, MixersAndEvents.Com/home/ - I am able to get to the home page.

I have a CPanel redirect like MixersAndEvents.Com -&gt; MixersAndEvents.Com/home/

Is the redirect making this not work?

I have a new install of JoomSEF 1.3.3. I could not access the home page.

MixersAndEvents.Com/home/ - Joomla is installed in the home directory not root.

but I could get a page through any another page. Once I get a page, I can navigate without a problem to the home page and anywhere else.

IE (internet explorer) works just fine but not Mozilla Firefox.

Please advise.
