We bought ARTIO VM INVOICE because it seem’s to be the best product for invoice generation on VM.

We tried the DEMO administrator panel before buying and it was working perfectly.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work at all with us.

Here are the problems & questions:

--1) INSTALLING COMPONENT & PLUGIN:

We have downloaded these files:
--- com_vminvoice.zip
--- plg_vminvoice_autorun.zip

The setup of com_vminvoice.zip also launches the setup of the plugin.
If we manually install the plugin (after having installed the COMPONENT) we get INTERNAL ERROR ON WEBSITE.

Question 1) Is it correct that the component also makes the setup of the plugin?
Question 2) The plugin needs to be installed manually or not?

--2) LARGE NUMBER OF DATA IN FOLDERS AFTER INSTALLATION
The first time VM_INVOICE is launched it creates a TEMP FOLDER with a lot of data: 4.000 files and 40 Mb of size.
Question 3) Is it normal that at every generation of invoice the temp folder increases so much?


--3) PROBLEMS IN DISPLAYING INVOICES
When you click on the invoice you get a Gateway Error for too much time in displaying the invoice created.

1. It is normal that plugin is installed with component installation. But its default status is disabled. If you want to enable plugin, you can find it in:
Extensions -> Plugin Manager -> System - VMInvoice Autorun

2. VM Invoice generate invoices for all orders you have in your database. Invoices can occupy more space if they use utf8 fonts. If you don't need utf8 fonts, do not use them. But if you are using some special characters, you can use utf8 fonts or generate your new fonts with limited charset. If there is still large number of data for you, you can still disable cache for PDF invoice in:
Components -> ARTIO VM Invoice -> Global Configuration -> General Config -> Cache PDF

3. You can try to enlarge max_execution_time in php settings. There should be fine to see your video how it looks, but it is private, so I have no rights to watch it.
